Do you have an angry cat? Having
an angry cat is no fun as a cat owner, but fortunately there
are some things you can do to quickly change your cats
behavior.
The two most common cat behavior
problems encountered by most owners are failure to use the litter
box and feline aggression. Cat behavior problems are the most
common reasons why owners give their cats up to shelters. Most
have tried to deal with these problems for a long time, have
tried every possible resource, and cant take it any more.
If you are one of these owners,
hopefully you will find some suggestions here to help you deal
with your aggressive cat. An aggressive cat can take many forms.
From the simple nipping at your toes, to the more aggressive,
and scary physical attacks on owners by their cats.
Many people get frustrated
with their cat because one minute they are petting their cat
and then the next minute they bite you and run away. Most people
are taken by complete surprise by this, but if you start observing
your cat more closely you should be able to pick up some subtle
signs that your cat is about to attack.
My cat would only bite my wife
on the legs or toes when she was sitting on the couch. After
a while we learned what to look for when the cat was approaching
her. We found that when the cat was in a biting mood its approach
towards my wife was more direct. The cats head would be
done and so would be the tail. When the cat was in a petting
mood, the head and tail would be up.
Once you start to recognize
early warning signs that your cat is in an angry mood you can
take steps to change your cats attention and mood.
